As part of the project activities at the Center for Geospatial Technologies (GAL) in Zadar, a training session for part of the team on the basics of using geospatial technologies was held on 27 and 28 February 2026. Hrvoje Šlezak, Danijel Jukopila and Zdenko Braičić participated in the training. Through theoretical and practical classes, project members were introduced to the basics of GIS, spatial analysis methods, working with digital relief models, as well as the interpretation of satellite and drone images. The training was coordinated by an external member of the project team, Prof. Dr. Sc. Ante Šiljeg. This training represents a combination of scientific knowledge and applicable skills necessary for the realization of specific project goals. The second part of the training is planned for the next academic year.
